In 2017, after nearly 25 years in the same career, I took a leap.
I left behind the traditional path and set out into the unknown with my two dogs, a van, and a dream that there had to be something more.
The road taught me what no desk ever could — about freedom, community, connection, and the irreplaceable beauty of places that don’t fit the typical mold.
I felt it in every mile: that deep, aching pull called Fernweh — the longing for faraway places, for experiences not yet lived but already calling my soul home.
I hustled to make it work — house sitting, working on a hemp farm, building a small pickle business, and bartering skills and goods when money wasn’t the currency.
It wasn’t just survival; it was a movement. A way of living rooted in discovery, resilience, trust, and belonging.
Somewhere along the way, the seed for iVENUED was planted.
I realized that every place, no matter how tucked away, holds a story — and that story deserves to be experienced, not hidden.
I built iVENUED for the barefoot weddings, the starlit reunions, the art shows on mountain overlooks, the secret gardens, the riverbanks, the converted barns, the open skies.
For the people, like me, who crave spaces that aren't just event venues — they're the soul of the moment.
Today, iVENUED is more than an idea.
It's a tribute to that leap of faith, to the unmarked paths, and to all the dreamers who know that if you can imagine it, you can venue it.
Welcome to our world.
Welcome to the story we’re still writing.
Come sit by the fire with us,
