Our Story: Where the Dream Took Root

In 2017, after nearly 25 years in the same career, I made a decision to step off the expected path.

With One dog, a van, and a belief that there had to be something more, I set out to see what existed beyond routine.

The road reshaped everything.

It taught me about freedom, resilience, community, and the quiet power of places that don’t fit the typical mold. I found myself drawn to the overlooked — riverbanks, back fields, hidden properties, and spaces that felt alive with potential.

I worked wherever I could — house sitting, farming, building small ventures, bartering when needed. It wasn’t just a season of survival. It was a redefinition of what value looks like.

Somewhere along that path, the idea for iVENUED began to take form (and added another dog to the adventure)

I realized that the most meaningful gatherings rarely belong to standard venues. They happen in spaces that carry story, texture, land, memory.

iVENUED was built to make those spaces visible.

Not as a marketplace of excess — but as a curated platform connecting everyday properties, distinctive venues, and exceptional partners across intentional regions.

What began as a personal leap has grown into a structured ecosystem rooted in discovery, quality, and belonging.

iVENUED exists for the barefoot weddings, the starlit reunions, the art shows in unexpected places — and for the hosts who know their space holds more than they’ve ever considered.

The story isn’t just being written.

It’s being built.
